Living In Perilous Times
I've been attempting to make a video summarizing my thoughts on the shooting that took place last week at Sandy Hook Elementary School of Newtown, Connecticut. But this is one of those times, I'm better off writing instead of filming. Since the shooting, I have seen and heard the worst from just about every corner of the media. When the media wasn't lavishly bathing in the grief of others (while claiming to be mourning) they gave room for voices from all sides in search of answers. Starting from the political left was the usual attempt to make law abiding citizens feel guilty for owning a gun. "IT'S YOUR FAULT GUN OWNERS!" Then the political right blamed the artificial violence in video games and movies. "IT'S YOUR FAULT YOU MOVIE FANS AND GAMERS!" Then wolves in sheep's clothing, broods of vipers were given voice who proceeded to say, "GOD DID IT! GOD HATES AMERICA!!!" No rational Bible-believing-Christian was asked if these nutjobs had a single shred of Biblical proof (or even logic) to back up their claims, they were just simply given a voice to add their foolishness into the pot of hypnotic insanity. I've even heard conspiracy theories that suggest something or someone from behind the scenes is programming assassins. What truly disturbs me the most, is that this insane theory actually has more going for it than anything else I've heard yet. But that's not saying much. No one will dare mention the anti-depressants or the psychotic drugs that are found in all of these shooters once they're arrested or given autopsies. This is DEMONIC violence manifesting itself. We are a land that has invited it! We outlawed God from our schools, extracted Him from all our school textbooks as though He were a disease, and since have endorsed politically the performing of 53 million blood sacrifices in the name of "a woman's right to choose." We've opened the gates of hell all over this nation. This by definition is the very demonically induced "perilous times" that Paul warned Timothy about in 2nd Timothy 3:1-5. The Word "Perilous" in that passage was translated from the Greek word, "chalepos" and it's definition found in a Strong's Concordance says that it means "hard to do, hard to take, hard to approach, hard to bear, troublesome, dangerous, harsh, fierce and savage." This Greek word is never used anywhere else in the New Testament except for one other time, and it's found in Matthew 8:28 to describe the demoniacs who were filled with demons. The definition of their nature is the very same of the "Perilous Times" Paul warned Timothy about. Don't be afraid, just be aware. This is where we are in history. Put on the whole armor of God. Be alert. Watch over the safety of your loved ones, constantly shield them and bathe them in prayer. Never forget that "He Who lives in you, is greater and mightier than he who is in the world."
