The Meek Shall Inherit The Earth ?
As we focus on Matthew's exhaustive record of Jesus' Sermon On The Mount, we learn that the "Kingdom of Heaven" is different from the "Kingdom of God". All throughout the book of Matthew, it seems that the "Kingdom Of Heaven" is tied directly to the future rule of Jesus Christ over the Earth. Knowing this really helps us understand what Jesus meant when he said things like, "the meek shall inherit the earth." Who are the meek and what is the inheritance?
